usefp fulbright scholarship program 2022

Applications are open for Fully Funded USEFP Fulbright Scholarship Program 2021-22. Fulbright Scholarship is one of the flagship scholarship programs of the United States Education Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP). The scholarship is funded by the US Department of State under its regulations. These scholarships are for the study of Master and PhD level programs in the United States.

Fields of Study (MS and PhD)

Candidates can apply in all fields except clinical medicine / specialization. However, candidates are encouraged to apply in the following fields of study:
  • Energy
  • Water
  • Agriculture
  • Public Health
  • Education
  • Social Sciences
  • Journalism and Mass Communication
  • Arts and Culture Management including Heritage Conservation and Museum Studies
  • Urban and Regional Planning

Note: Candidates applying for Masters of Business Administration / Public Policy should have a minimum of 2 years of working experience.

Eligibility Criteria

Following is the eligibility criteria for the scholarship:

  • Must be a Pakistani Citizen working and residing in the country.
Masters Program
  • Minimum 16 years of education (Bachelors Degree) from a recognized University / Institute.

PhD Program
  • Minimum 18 years of education (MS / M.Phil) from a recognized University / Institute.
  • Should have a strong academic background.

GRE Test
Candidates should have taken the GRE test (General) before applying for the scholarship. A minimum score of 300 is required on each section but under the new scoring system, minimum scores of 138 in the verbal and 136 in quantitative sections are required.

The cost of the GRE Test may be reimbursed (30 first come first served) by USEFP if the candidates are currently attending or teaching at HEC approved public universities in Pakistan. They can request for reimbursement if they have received the below-mentioned scores:

Engineering and Science subjects: 300
Humanities and Social Science subjects: 290

Note: Result awaiting students are eligible to apply only if they will provide their final transcript by the end of December 2021.

USEFP Fulbright Scholarship Program 2022

nutech overseas scholarship for masters 2020
National University of Technology (NUTECH), Islamabad has invited applications for the overseas Masters Scholarship in various fields. NUTECH is a Public University which was established in 2018. The University is administered and run by Army.
The overseas scholarships will be offered under the funded PSDP HEC Project of Establishing of the National University of Technology Campus (NUTECH), Islamabad.
The grants of scholarship are available in a limited number of disciplines.

Eligible Universities

Candidates can apply in the top 200 universities of the USA, West Europe, and far East.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must follow the following eligibility criteria:
  1. Must be a permanent resident of Pakistan including AJK.
  2. The maximum age on the closing date for the scholarship is 30 years.
  3. Must have 16 years of education (MSc / BSc Engineering / BE / BS) completed in all aspects.
  4. Must have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 / 4.0 (or 75% marks) in the Undergraduate degree.
  5. Should have first division throughout the academic career.
  6. Candidates who have already done MS are also eligible to apply.
  7. Candidates available on a full-time basis are only eligible to apply.
  8. Candidates already availing any other scholarship are ineligible to apply.

Note: The candidates must be available to start the academic studies in the foreign university before the start of the academic year in Sep / Oct 2020.

Bond

The selected candidates will have to sign a surety bond to serve NUTECH for three years after the completion of MS studies and joining NUTECH.

The distance learning scholarships are fully funded scholarships that are offered to the less developed commonwealth countries. Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to the Scholarship Program, Candidates should meet the following criteria:
  • Must be a citizen and permanent resident of Pakistan.
  • Must hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) standard i.e Minimum 60% Marks in Pakistani Bachelors Degree.
  • Be unable to afford to study the program without the scholarship.
  • IELTS is Mandatory for applying to the Universities. The rest of the details for applying to the Universities can be found from the respective links mentioned in the Program details. 


Note: Candidates will first have to apply at the University of their choice to obtain the Offer Letter. Each University has its own criteria and application process to select the number of candidates for Distance Learning Scholarships. The Universities will put forward their selected candidates to CSC by 22nd May 2020. However, the Universities will inform candidates of their results by July 2020.

Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarship for Medical Graduates

Commonwealth Scholarship Commission has invited applications for Fully Funded Medical Fellowship 2020-21. Commonwealth Scholarships are fully funded scholarship offered by the UK and funded by the Department of International Development (DID).
Commonwealth Medical Fellowships will enable the Doctors from middle-income countries including Pakistan to enhance their clinical skills. These Medical Fellowships will also enable talented and motivated individuals to gain the knowledge and skills that are required for sustainable development.

The duration of the Medical Fellowship is 4-6 months at any approved UK University Hospital.
Below is the detailed criteria and procedure to apply:


Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
  1. Be a permanent resident of Pakistan.
  2. Must have an academic appointment in Pakistan at one of the Medical Schools recognized by World Directory of Medical School (Click Here to see the List).
  3. Be employed by the hospital affiliated to the Medical School where you have an academic appointment.
  4. Must have qualified at a Medical School recognized by World Director of Medical School.
  5. Must have qualified as a Doctor on or before 1 October 2005 from one of the Medical School recognized by World Director of Medical School.
  6. Must have appeared in IELTS with a minimum score of 7.0 in each testing area and an overall score of 7.5 within 2 months of being notified that you are provisionally selected.
  7. Must have verified Medical qualification independently by Education of Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates for GMC within 2 months (31st August 2020) of being notified that you are provisionally selected (Click Here to Verify Medical Qualification).

Note: Candidates must be available to start the Fellowship in the UK in October - December 2020.

What the Scholarship will cover?

The Commonwealth fellowship will cover the following:
  1. Airfare
  2. Research support grant
  3. Stipend at a rate of £1,696 per month, or £2,104 per month for those at university hospitals in the London metropolitan area.
  4. Reimbursement of the fee for IELTS (only for one time) and the fee for GMC registration.
  5. Warm clothing allowance
  6. Study travel grant
  7. For widow, divorced, or a single parent, child allowance will also be given if they are living with you.

Fulbright Scholarship for Masters and PhD 2021

Applications are now open for the Fulbright Scholarship for the programs commencing in 2021. Fulbright Scholarship is the prestigious fully-funded Scholarship which is being offered by the United States Department of States for the Pakistani Students. In Pakistan, the United States Education Program looks after the process of Fulbright Scholarship. The major goal pf Fulbright Scholarship is to promote mutual understanding between the people of Pakistan and the United States. The selected students will have to serve a residency requirement for a minimum of two years.
The Fulbright Scholarship is available for both the Masters and PhD Program.
Following are the eligible disciplines in which the candidates can apply for Masters and PhD Programs:


Eligible Disciplines

  • All disciplines are eligible except for clinical medicine.
  • Students studying energy, water, agriculture, public health, education, social sciences, journalism and mass communication, arts and culture management including heritage conservation and museum studies, urban and regional planning, environmental science/studies, security/peace studies, and data science disciplines are strongly encouraged to apply.

Note: MBBS students can apply for a research-focused field such as Public Health. Candidates applying in the Public Policy / Administration / MBA Program should have 2 years of work experience.

  • Citizens of Pakistan residing and working and in Pakistan.
  • Have strong academic background

Fulbright Scholarship for Masters and PhD 2021 (Fully Funded)

Fulbright Scholarship Scheme for the Masters and Ph.D Program are now open for the year 2019-20. Fulbright is the flagship Scholarship Program from the US Department of State to the Students of Pakistan. Higher Education of Pakistan is also collaborating with Fulbright to provide funded scholarships to PhD students. These PhD awards are also managed by Fulbright under their policies and regulations.
The major goal of the Fulbright Scholarship Scheme is to provide quality education to Pakistani Students in top Universities of the US and to promote mutual understanding between the people of the US and the people of Pakistan.
