National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC) has officially allowed the Pre-Medical Students to directly take admission in all Computing and related Programs. Previously, it was mandatory for a Pre-Medical Student to pass the additional Mathematics course. But now this condition has been waived off and now they will have to pass the Mathematics Courses in 1st year of their Undergraduate Degree.
For taking admission in these courses, the applicants should have a minimum of 50% marks in Intermediate or equivalent exams.
The Pre-Medical Students can now directly apply for the following Undergraduate courses:
This issue was raised by Dr Qasim Sheikh of Shifa Tameer-e-Milat University a few months back with very strong arguments. The council deliberated on the issue for weeks, trying to find the modalities as it also believed that there is a big percentage of very talented students who do not get admission to MBBS or BDS Programs.
All the students will be required to pass the deficiency courses of Mathematics of 6 credit hours within on year of their regular studies. The deficiency courses should cover most of the relevant topics to a bachelors degree in computing education from intermediate level mathematics.
For taking admission in these courses, the applicants should have a minimum of 50% marks in Intermediate or equivalent exams.

- Artificial Intelligence
- Bioinformatics
- Computer Science
- Cyber Security
- Data Science
- Information Systems
- Information Technology
- Software Engineering
