National University of Medical Sciences (NUMS), Rawalpindi has opened applications for its spring admissions 2020. National University of Medical Sciences was established in 2015 as a Public Sector University. The University is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and by Pakistan Medical Commission (formerly PMDC). The University is run by Pakistan Army and is offering many Undergraduate and Graduate Programs in the field of Medical Sciences. NUMS is also establishing a Medical City that would offer advanced medical facilities and diverse programs in all disciplines of knowledge with an emphasis on Biological and Medical Sciences.
The Department of Biological Sciences and the Department of Social and Behavioural Sciences aims to provide students a solid foundation in scientific methodology, creative thought, logic and innovation to pursue a career in academia, industry, and governance.

Department of Biological Sciences
Candidates must have a minimum of 60% marks in Intermediate (Pre-Medical) or equivalent.
Candidates must have appeared in NUMS MDCAT (Re-conduct) OR can appear in the Entry Test which will be conducted by NUMS.
Note: Candidates can improve their score by appearing in the Entry Test.
Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences
Candidates must have a minimum of 45% (2nd Division) marks in FSc (Pre-Engineering or Pre-Medical), F.A, ICS, ICom or Equivalent.
Candidates must appear in Entry Test to be conducted by NUMS on 19th January 2020.
Note: Securing a minimum 50% marks in both entry test and interview is mandatory.
