National Textile University (NTU), Faisalabad is a Public Sector Federally Character University which was founded in 1959. Initially, it was known as National Textile College which was affiliated University of Engineering and Technology Lahore. In 2002, it was given the University Status. The National Textile University is the only premier Textile University of Pakistan. It is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) and its Engineering Programs are accredited by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and its Computer Programs by the National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC).

Eligibility Criteria
Faculty of Engineering- Minimum 60% marks in Intermediate (Pre-Engineering) or equivalent. Minimum 50% marks in Intermediate (Pre-Engineering) or equivalent for Engineering Technology.
Faculty of Management Sciences / Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences
- Minimum 45% marks in Intermediate or equivalent with any combination.
Faculty of Science
- Minimum 50% in Intermediate or equivalent with Mathematics as an elective subject.
