NED University of Engineering and Technology (NEDUET), Karachi Admissions 2017. NED University of Engineering and Technology was established in 1977 as public sector University. Previously it was known as NED Government Engineering College, but later it was renamed as NED University of Engineering and Technology (NEDUET). NED University is recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) and accredited by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). NED University was ranked at No. 11 by Higher Education Commission (HEC) in 2015 Rankings.

Following is the eligibility criteria for undergraduate programs:
Preparation of Documents
Candidates are required to prepare the following documents [Official Notification]:
1) Candidates should immediately apply for Domicile.
2) Candidates, age 18 years or above are advised to apply for CNIC. Candidates below 18 are required to have B. Form.
3) All the candidates who have done Intermediate from Foreign board must apply for equivalence certificate soon after the announcement of their result.
4) All those candidates who are appearing in HSSC examinations other than foreign board should enter their HSSC marks on Admission Portal immediately after
the declaration of result by their respective boards.

Eligibility Criteria
Following is the eligibility criteria for undergraduate programs:
- Only Sindh Domicile candidates are eligible to apply (except in some cases).
- Minimum 60% marks in HSSC or equivalent for Engineering Programs.
- Pre-Medical Students can apply for Bio Medical and Food Engineering and BS Programs.
- ICS (Computer Science) Students can apply in Computer, Software and all BS Programs.
- Candidates having 55% marks can apply for all BS Programs except BS CSIT.
