Air University, Islamabad admissions 2015. Air University (AU) was founded in 2002 as a public research university. The university is under the management of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) education command. Air university is recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) and also by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). Air University has two campuses main campus is located in Islamabad and sub-campus is located in Multan. In addition, the university is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities of the United Kingdom. The university was ranked among country's top ten and most notable universities in "Engineering & Technology" category by the HEC in 2010, but now it is ranked at 7th place in the Engineering discipline.
