Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), Islamabad has opened graduate admissions 2020 for Medical Doctors. PIEAS is a public sector university which was established as a Nuclear Reactor School in 1967. It is a constituent institute of Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC). PIEAS is providing opportunity for doctors to pursue a career in nuclear medicine. The University is recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) and its Masters Programs for Medical Doctors are recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC). The Masters qualification are equivalent to DMRT and MCPS (Radiotherapy).

Note: Candidates should have first-class academic career one with second division (50% marks) is allowed except in the final degree.
Merit will be determined by the admission test and interview.
*Some regular fee seats are also available in these hospitals.
Note: Fellows will have to pledge a surety bond to serve PAEC for 5 years after graduation in the above-mentioned hospitals of PAEC.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:- Must be a Pakistani National
- Must have done MBBS (with 1 year of house job) from PMDC recognized Medical Institute.
- The age limit for applying to fellowship program is 32 years as on 30th June 2020.
- There is no age limit for regular candidates.

Salient features of the fellowship
- Fellows will get stipend of 35,000 per month with a full fee waiver.
- Free transport and free indoor medical treatment.
- They will be promoted as Sr Medical Officer (SPS-9) after two years of service.
- They will get regular appointment / job in PAEC only in mentioned cities as Medical officer (SPS-08) with 3 advance increments.
Note: Fellows will have to pledge a surety bond to serve PAEC for 5 years after graduation in the above-mentioned hospitals of PAEC.
