Ehsaas Undergraduate Scholarship is the largest scholarship scheme announced by the Government of Pakistan under Poverty Alleviation Program. The scholarship will be administered by Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan. Ehsaas Scholarship is a major initiative to enhance access to higher education. Ehsaas Scholarship is for the high achievers students from the low income families.
Note: Students with special needs as well as those from remote and disadvantaged areas are highly encouraged to apply.
Eligibility Criteria
Following is the eligibility criteria for the Ehsaas Scholarship:
- Students must be enrolled on merit (Spring 2020 or Fall 2020) in any Public Sector University of Pakistan.
- Family Income of the student must be below poverty threshold.
- Students enrolled in Self-Supporting Programs are ineligible to apply.
Benefits of the Scholarship
The Scholarship will cover the following two things:
- Tuition Fee
- Stipend
Total Number of Awards
The total number of awards under the Ehsaas Scholarship are at least 50,000 from which 50% is reserved for Female Students.
