Information Technology University (ITU), Lahore Admissions 2017. Information Technology University (ITU), Lahore came into begin in 2012 as a semi-government university. ITU is recognized by Higher Education Commission (HEC) and by Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC). ITU aspires to emulate the success of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) through a focus on cross-disciplinary applied research, the cultivation of an entrepreneurial culture in teaching and research, the maintenance of a close collaboration with the Information and Communication Technology industry and the development of strong ties with government funding agencies. Eligibility Criteria
Undergraduate Programs
--At least 60% marks in Matric.
--Candidate has appeared in eight O’Levels subjects.
--At least 60% marks in A Level / Intermediate (FSc Pre-Engineering / ICS).
--Candidate has scored minimum 30 out of 45 points in International Baccalaureate.
--Minimum 80% or above in American High School Diploma.
-- Candidate has successfully cleared at least 3 of the below-mentioned subjects in A-Levels with no less than 2 Bs and 1C and no grade less than a C

MS Computer Science
--Minimum 16 years of education.
--Undergraduate degree in CS, EE or any other related field from an HEC recognized university.
--At least CGPA of 2.0 or having scored at least 53% marks or more in the last degree.
MS Electrical Engineering
--Minimum 16 years of education
--Candidate can be enrolled in MS EE program with Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related fields (Approved by the Faculty Board of Studies (FBS) of Electrical Engineering Department) with a minimum CGPA of 2.0 out of 4.0 or 53% marks.
MS Development Studies; Development, Technology and Policy
Executive MBA in Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship (EMBITE)
Postgraduate Programs
Ph.D. Computer Science
--Minimum 18 years of education
--M.Phil / MS / Equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field (Approved by the Faculty Board of Studies (FBS) of Computer Science Department) from an HEC recognized university.
--Minimum CGPA of 3.0 (out of 4.0 in the Semester System) or First Division (in the Annual System) in M.Phil / MS / Equivalent degree.
Ph.D. Electrical Engineering
--M.Phil / MS / Equivalent degree is required in Electrical Engineering or related field (Approved by the Faculty Board of Studies (FBS) of Electrical Engineering Department) from an HEC recognized university.
--Minimum CGPA 3.0 (out of 4.0 in the Semester System) or First Division (in the Annual System) in M.Phil / MS / Equivalent degree.
--Subject test / Interview shall be conducted by the institution. Candidate should clear the Subject test / Interview will 70% marks prior to admission for the Ph.D. Program.
